Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organise warehouse operations according to council procedures
- Receive, reconcile and monitor stock levels across multiple sites
- Perform daily stock counts and manage reordering processes
- Operate forklifts for loading, unloading and storage management
- Coordinate deliveries to job sites and manage non-stock item movements
- Ensure compliance with WHS regulations for chemicals and dangerous goods
- Support warehouse supervisors and assist in daily operational tasks
- Assist in training new staff and trainees when required
Essential Requirements
- Certificate in warehouse operations or equivalent qualification
- Valid Queensland “C” Class Driver’s Licence
- Forklift Operator Ticket (mandatory)
- White Card (General Construction Induction)
- Experience in supply chain or warehouse operations
- Strong computer and inventory management skills
- Knowledge of WHS and safe manual handling practices
